HOUSTON, TX – A motorist was killed and the operator of a street sweeper was injured following a collision on I-45 in Spring early yesterday morning.
The Houston Chronicle reports that the incident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. on April 19, in the southbound lanes near the intersection with Cypresswood Drive.
Two street-sweeping vehicles, a truck, and a work crew were in the shoulder when a 1995 Mitsubishi Montero collided with one of the street sweepers, causing both vehicles to catch fire.
