HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was killed following a hit-and-run collision near the South Freeway on Sunday night.
According to a report by Fox 26 Houston, the accident was reported at about 9:30 p.m. along the south Freeway service road at Holly Hall Road.
Responding officers say the unidentified motorcyclist was westbound on Holly Hall Rd. when another vehicle ran the red light and hit him. He was thrown from the bike and pronoucned dead at the scene.
The driver responsible for the crash fled the scene after stopping momentarily afterward. Witnesses told police they were driving a light-color SUV or pickup truck.
