News: 1 killed, 2 injured after 3-vehicle collision in southeast Houston
HOUSTON, TX – One man was killed and two other individuals were transported to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash in southeast Houston on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a report by Houston Police Department, the accident took place at about 4:30 p.m. within the 2500 block of Genoa Red Bluff Road.
Officers say the unidentified 19-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Tahoe lost control of his vehicle for unknown reasons and crossed into oncoming traffic. The Tahoe then struck a Ford Mustang and rolled over on top of the vehicle before colliding with a Mercedes.
The driver of the Tahoe was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The 61-year-old man in the Ford was hospitalized in critical condition.
The woman in the Mercedes was treated and released from the scene.
