HOUSTON, TX – A man was struck and killed when he stepped into traffic in northwest Harris County late Monday night.
According to the Houston Chronicle, the unidentified 50-year-old man was hit at about 10:30 p.m. within the 8100 block of West Little York Road, near the intersection with Guhn Road.
Witnesses told police the driver was unable to avoid the victim who walked into the street unexpectedly. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver is not expected to face any charges at this time.
