RICHMOND, TX – A crash on the Westpark Tollway killed two adults and a toddler early Friday morning, reports Click 2 Houston.
According to deputies, the accident was reported at 1:15 a.m. on the stretch of Westpark Tollway near FM 1464.
Authorities say that a dark sedan driven by a 28-year-old man had been traveling the wrong way on the tollway when it collided with a white Audi SUV driven by an unidentified woman.
The driver of the SUV was trapped inside the burning wreckage of the by the time first responders arrived.
Both motorists were pronounced dead the scene..
A two-year-old boy, a nephew of the sedan’s driver, was given CPR by emergency crews at the scene. He was subsequently taken by Life Flight to a nearby hospital, where they died from his injuries. He was not in a car seat at the time of the collision.
Nobody involved in the crash has been publicly identified at this time.
