HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed following a suspected DWI crash on Eastex Freeway early Thursday morning.
According to KTRK, the crash took place at about 2 a.m. on the inbound lanes of US-59, near Greens Road.
Police say the 75-year-old man was attempting to change lanes when a pickup truck slammed into the back of his Chevrolet Trailblazer.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His three grandchildren in their vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The unidentified woman responsible for the crash will likely face charges.
