HOUSTON, TX — A motorcyclist and a pedestrian were critically injured early Thursday morning in an Interstate 610 crash in north Houston, according to KHOU11.
The accident occurred in the North Loop of I-610 eastbound near N. Main Street in the Independence Heights area shortly before 5:00 a.m.
Houston police said a woman was walking in the main travel lanes of I-610 eastbound when a motorcyclist struck her.
Both rider and pedestrian suffered critical injuries.
It is not known at this time why the woman was on the freeway.
