HOUSTON, TX — A man died Wednesday night when a pickup truck rolled on him after a physical altercation near the Mid-West area in west Houston, according to News4SA.
The accident occurred in the 6300 block of Windswept Lane shortly after 8:30 p.m.
An investigation found that the victim had been in a Honda Civic with his pregnant wife when a Toyota Tundra pickup truck rear-ended them.
After the crash, the victim exited the Honda and confronted the male pickup driver. The men got into an altercation, which involved the victim jumping onto the truck and engaging in a fist fight.
The truck then accelerated away more than a hundred yards before it lost control and overturned, crushing the victim underneath.
Authorities confirmed the victim died at the scene.
An investigation remains underway as police search for the pickup truck driver who fled the scene.
