HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A woman died early Sunday morning after a three-vehicle collision on U.S. Highway 290 near Cypress, according to Houston Chronicle.
The crash happened at the intersection of the US-290 frontage road and Fry Road .
According to a witness, one of the vehicles ran a red light and struck two other vehicles.
As a result of the accident, a man and a woman were pinned inside one of the vehicles. They were extricated by deputies and Cy-Fair Fire crews before being transported to a nearby hospital. The woman later died from her injuries.
No further details have been disclosed on the man’s condition.
