BRAZORIA COUNTY, TX — A man and a woman died Tuesday morning after a multi-vehicle crash that injured two children on Texas Highway 35 in Liverpool, according to ABC13.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes of SH-35 near County Road 192 at around 9:40 a.m.
Department of Public Safety troopers said a woman was behind the wheel of a Ford F250 going northbound on SH-35 when her vehicle traveled into the southbound lanes. There she sideswiped a Toyota before striking a Ford F150 head-on.
The woman and the male driver of the F150 were both killed in the accident.
Two child passengers in the F250, aged 6 and 12 years old, were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital. They were listed in stable condition as of Wednesday.
A driver in a fourth involved vehicle was not seriously injured, according to authorities.
An investigation remains underway to determine the cause of the crash.
