HOUSTON, TX — A 21-year-old man died Saturday evening after a single-car accident near George Bush Intercontinental Airport in north Houston, reports the Houston Police Department.
The crash happened at 17444 John F. Kennedy Boulevard at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Witnesses say a black Lexus IS 250 was northbound and weaving in and out of traffic when it veered into a concrete curb to the left of the roadway. The impact of the crash caused the car to go airborne, hit a group of large trees, and eject the driver.
The unidentified 21-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
An investigation remained underway as of Tuesday.
