News: 3 injured after deputy constable-involved crash in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — Two adults and a child were hospitalized Friday night after a crash involving a Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constable in northwest Houston, according to ABC13.

The collision occurred in the 13000 block of Veterans Memorial Drive near Bammel North Houston Road at about 9:00 p.m.

The deputy constable was heading south on the road and en route to assist another officer. Authorities said his cruiser’s lights and sirens were activated at the time another car pulled out into his path. The cruiser collided with the car, and impacted three other nearby vehicles.

Three people in the car, including a 12-year-old who was ejected, were transported to local hospitals. Their conditions have not been disclosed.

The deputy constable received treatment for minor injuries at the scene.
