HOUSTON, TX – Three crashes at Hidalgo St and I-610 W Service Rd happened right after each other Friday, according to Fox 26.
The first accident happened around 3 a.m. when the sedan driver crashed. Shortly afterward, a Jeep driver wrecked at the same location.
Emergency crews were responding to the scene and clearing the crash when the driver of a Honda Accord struck a police officer, the driver of the Jeep, and two wrecker drivers.
First responders transported the driver of the Jeep and the officer to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The two wrecker drivers refused treatment at the scene.
Police believe the Jeep driver may have been impaired at the time of the collision.
