HOUSTON, TX – Three westbound lanes of the 610 South Loop were closed due to a major car crash involving two vehicles and a pedestrian on Friday afternoon, reports Click2Houston.
The crash occurred around 2 p.m. on the 610 South Loop close to where it passes over Cullen Boulevard. According to police, a red pickup truck crashed into a construction truck before pinning a pedestrian underneath it. The truck came to a stop after hitting the center divider of the freeway.
Authorities are uncertain if the pedestrian, who’s condition is unknown, was a driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident.
Police are still investigating the situation.
