HOUSTON, TX — A man was found dead early Saturday after an apparent single-vehicle accident in southeast Houston’s Southbelt/Ellington neighborhood, according to ABC13.
Houston police said the crash occurred on Nellsfield Lane and Wimberly Canyon Court at approximately 2:25 a.m.
Few details have been reported on the circumstances behind the event, but residents in the area said they heard gunshots moments before the crash.
Responding officers found the victim with a gunshot wound, along with lacerations to his head and arm.
An investigation was underway to determine the cause of death.
