HOUSTON, TX – A 69-year-old woman struck two police cars while under the influence of alcohol early Tuesday morning, reports NTV Houston.
The crash occurred at roughly 2 a.m. on Crawford Road close to where it intersects with Tanner Road. Two HPD squad cars were blocking the road for the Houston Fire Department while they were fighting a mulch fire when the police vehicles were struck by the drunk driver.
The collision broke the front axle of one of the police cars, necessitating a tow truck.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the collision.
