Motorcyclist dies after collision on Tomball Pkwy in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A 41-year-old man died Saturday afternoon after a motorcycle accident on the Tomball Parkway service road near Houston’s Willowbrook area, according to Houston Police Department.

The crash occurred in the 17200 block of the service road, near Apple Willowbrook Mall, at around 3:00 p.m.

Witnesses told investigators the man was on a black Harley Davidson motorcycle speeding northbound on the access road when he attempted to change lanes as he approached the entrance ramp to the parkway. The motorcyclist hit a curb that divides the ramp from the access road, causing the bike to flip multiple times.

Medics rushed the victim to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, where he later died from his injuries.

Authorities said no one else was injured and no other vehicles were involved.

An investigation by HPD’s Vehicular Crimes Division remains in progress.
