HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was killed as the result of a two-vehicle collision in a southeast Houston neighborhood last Friday afternoon.
According to a report by the Houston Police Department, the accident happened at about 4:25 p.m. as the motorcyclist was traveling south on Northdale Street, near the intersection with Bellfort Avenue.
Responding officers say the driver of a Lincoln MKX was northbound on Northdale and attempted to turn left into a business when his vehicle collided with the motorcycle. The unidentified 21-year-old rider was thrown from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Lincoln remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
