PEARLAND, TX – Three people were taken to the hospital following a collision involving a Pearland police cruiser on Saturday.
According to a report by ABC 13, the officer’s vehicle was rear-ended after responding to the scene of a prior incident within the 2400 block of Broadway Street.
Two people in the passenger vehicle were trapped inside and needed to be extricated by firefighters. Both occupants and the officer were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time.
