HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed after his vehicle rolled over on the South Freeway early Monday morning.
According to a report by the Houston Police Department, the accident occurred at about 1:45 a.m. within the 5400 block of SH-288, near West Orem Drive.
Investigators believe the 30-year-old man behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Avalanche pickup was northbound on the freeway when the vehicle drifted off the roadway into the guardrail before overturning.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
