HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was struck and killed after riding through a red light at a busy southeast Houston intersection early last week.
According to a report by HPD, the crash occurred on June 8th at about 10:25 p.m. when the cyclist entered the intersection of Park Place Boulevard and Reveille Street.
Investigators say the unidentified cyclist was hit by a Chevrolet Cruze and a Dodge Ram 1500 that were traveling south through the intersection.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No charges are expected to be filed against the drivers at this time.
