HOUSTON, TX — A driver suffered injuries after his 18-wheeler truck crashed and fell off an Interstate 610 on-ramp in west Houston last Friday.
According to ABC13, the crash happened on the U.S. Highway 59 westbound exit ramp to I-610 West Loop at about 12:30 a.m.
Investigators believe the driver was on the ramp when the truck’s load shifted, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. The truck traveled over the ramp’s barrier and fell at least 14 feet below onto an area near Westpark Drive.
Authorities said the truck driver sustained minor injuries, though it is unclear if he was transported to a hospital.
