HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed on Westheimer Rd by a hit-and-run driver Thursday evening, according to KTRK.
The accident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when a driver of a green Honda struck an unidentified male on the 8000 block of Westheimer Rd.
Following the collision, the driver parked their car and fled the area on foot. Their vehicle had damage to both its front end and windshield from the collision.
First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead when they arrived at the scene of the accident.
The name of the victim has not been released. Descriptions of the suspect are also unavailable at this time.
