HOUSTON, TX — A motorcyclist was injured Sunday morning in a crash on Southwest Freeway near Houston’s Larchmont neighborhood, according to ABC13.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes of the freeway (Interstate 69, or U.S. Highway 59) just before Chimney Rock Road at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Few details have been made available on what led up to the crash, but the motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with a head injury. Their condition has not been disclosed.
No other injuries were reported.
The event left all northbound lanes of the freeway blocked at Westpark Driver for about three hours, but lanes had begun reopening by 11:00 a.m.
