BROOKSHIRE, TX – One person was killed and traffic was brought to a standstill after a multi-vehicle collision on the Katy Freeway near Waller County yesterday afternoon, reports KTRK.
The four-vehicle collision happened on westbound I-10 at Igloo Road sometime before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The cause of the accident is not known at this time. It is also unclear whether anyone else was injured.
Wreckage was strewn across the road following the accident, affecting traffic in the area. Investigators closed off the affected section of I-10 until around 8 p.m.
