HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed while walking in the Edgebrook neighborhood in southwest Houston on Wednesday night, the Houston Chronicle reports.
The accident took place at about 9 p.m. within the 300 block of Edgebrook Drive, near the intersection with Galveston Road.
The circumstances leading up to the fatal crash are unclear at this time. The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene. No charges have been filed against that individual as of yet.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending further investigation.
