HOUSTON, TX — A 16-year-old girl died Friday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Central Southwest Houston, reports ABC13.
The accident occurred at 13900 Buffalo Speedway, near the Darlinghurst Drive intersection at approximately 6:40 p.m.
Houston Police said a Dodge Cobalt was trying to cross Buffalo Speedway’s northbound lanes when it collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck. As a result of the crash, the pickup truck was launched over a concrete curb and into some roadside trees.
The teenage victim, a passenger in the Dodge Ram, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the pickup truck, an 18-year-old man, sustained undisclosed injuries.
