HOUSTON, TX – A woman is dead after crashing her motorcycle into the back of a dump truck at 2400 State Hwy 6 South on Monday evening, according to Houston Police.
The motorcyclist, a 44-year-old woman, was traveling north when her Kawasaki motorcycle slammed into the back of a dump truck. The impact subsequently sent the motorcycle into a ditch.
The driver of the dump truck continued without stopping.
Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene of the accident.
Police believe the driver of the dump truck may have failed to render aid after the crash because they did not notice the impact.
