CROSBY, TX – A man was killed on US 90 yesterday afternoon when he was struck by a semi-truck east of where the highway intersects with FM 2100, reports ABC 13.

Police units arrived at the scene at roughly 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon and declared the pedestrian dead at the scene shortly after. Authorities later confirmed that the man killed in the incident was a member of a highway cleanup crew that was clearing debris in the area.
A stretch of US 90 east of FM 2100 has been closed while authorities investigate the scene. It is unclear how long the roadway will be obstructed from traffic.
