News: At Least One Injured Following Police Pursuit Near Park Place

HOUSTON, TX – At least one person was injured after their vehicle was struck by a car that was being pursued by the police on Tuesday morning, reports KHOU.

The chase, which lasted about 20 minutes, was caught on camera by Houston TranStar.

Police began the pursuit at around 4 a.m. after a small SUV ran a red light. The driver of the SUV had warrants out for their arrest.

The suspect then lead the police in a chase on I-45 before exiting onto northbound Broadway Street, where it struck at least one vehicle.

The suspect attempted to flee the scene but was apprehended by police.

An unidentified 45-year-old woman from the struck vehicle was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

It is unknown at this time if anyone else was injured.
