HOUSTON, TX – A ride was killed after his three-wheeled motorcycle crashed in a south Houston neighborhood Wednesday evening, the Houston Police Department reports.
The accident took place at about 5:10 p.m. within the 6600 block of Glen Rock Drive, at the intersection with Ledbetter Road.
Investigators believe the 50-year-old male victim was riding a Can-Am three-wheeler at a high rate of speed on Ledbetter Rd. when he attempted to turn onto Glen Rock Dr. and lost control. The bike then struck a curb and skidded across the roadway.
The rider was rushed to Memorial Herman-Texas Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
