Man Dies After Being Hit by Concrete Mixer Truck in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A man was killed Wednesday morning when he was struck by a concrete mixer truck in southeast Houston’s Greater East End neighborhood, according to ABC13.

Authorities said the accident occurred at the intersection of Navigation Boulevard and Wayside Drive at approximately 9:00 a.m.

Few details have been reported on the events leading up to the crash, but the victim died from his injuries at the scene.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Several other cement trucks were also stopped in the area after the event. It was not immediately clear whether the victim was a pedestrian or in a working capacity when he was killed.
