HOUSTON, TX – Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fatally collided with a pedestrian on the 10000 block of Telephone Rd Sunday, according to Fox 26.
The driver of a Honda CRV struck the pedestrian, a man in his 20s, around 1:30 a.m. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver fled the area following the collision and abandoned the vehicle a few blocks away from the crash site.
Police believe speed played a role in the collision.
