HOUSTON, TX — A man died Tuesday night after crashing his motorcycle into a car on State Highway 6 near Houston’s George Bush Park/Eldridge neighborhood, according to KHOU11.
The fatal accident took place at the Barker Oaks Drive intersection at approximately 9:45 p.m.
According to Houston police, the motorcyclist accelerated into the passenger side of a vehicle while it was turning left. The impact of the crash caused the car to spin around into the opposite direction and ejected the rider onto the roadway multiple feet away.
Authorities said the victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and died from his injuries.
No one else was reported injured in the event, and no further details have been released at this time.
