HOUSTON, TX – One man was killed after he exited a moving vehicle near Sims Bayou early Thursday morning.
According to a report by the Houston Police Department, the incident took place shortly before 4:30 a.m. within the 8700 block of Howard Drive, just west of Bosworth Street.
Police say the unidentified man jumped out of the Chevrolet Tahoe while it was in motion and hit the concrete nearby. He was pronounced dead upon firefighters’ arrival at the scene.
The driver of the Tahoe, a 21-year-old man, was questioned and released from the scene following a blood test. No charges have been filed against that individual at this time.
