HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist died after striking a Nissan Altima in the Greater Green Point area of Houston on June 14, reports police.
The incident happened around 4:50 p.m. at 100 North Sam Houston Parkway East. The male victim was driving north on Greenpoint Dr and went through the intersection when he collided with a black Nissan Altima.
Emergency crews hospitalized the victim at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest where he died from his injuries.
Following striking the motorcyclist, the 24-year-old driver remained at the scene. Impairment is not believed to be a factor in the incident. The crash is still under investigation.
