HOUSTON, TX – A juvenile passenger died from injuries sustained in a multi-vehicle crash on Sam Houston Parkway late last month.
According to a report by the Harris County Sheriff’s office, the accident took place on April 22nd at about 7:30 a.m. within the 4100 block of South Sam Houston Parkway West.
Police say the driver of a 2015 Ford F-350 drove through the stop sign at the Hiram Clarke Road intersection and collided head-on with the driver’s side of a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. A passenger in the back right seat of the Jetta was unrestrained at the time of the crash and sustained critical injuries as a result.
The juvenile passenger was rushed to Texas Children’s Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, April 25th.
It is unclear if any other injuries were sustained as a result of the crash.
