HOUSTON, TX — A 32-year-old man died Tuesday morning after a wrong-way crash involving a motorcycle and a truck near Houston’s El Dorado/Oates Prairie area, reports Houston Chronicle.
The accident occurred in the 4800 block of North McCarty Street at around 10:30 a.m.
Police say the motorcyclist was riding northbound in the southbound lanes of the road when he was collided with an oncoming truck.
The rider was transported to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities do not suspect impairment.
Information on the motorcyclist has not been disclosed due to a pending autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
