HARRIS CO., TX – One person died as the result of a high-speed crash in northwest Harris County on Wednesday, KHOU reports.
The accident occurred sometime before 5:10 p.m. at the intersection of Cumberland Ridge Drive and Grand Parkway.
Police say the driver ran a stop sign at a high rate of speed and collided with a wall. The passenger got out and fled the scene on foot.
The driver was pronounced dead upon authorities’ arrival.
