HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A vehicle fire was reported Wednesday evening near Mercer Botanic Gardens in Spring, according to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable for Precinct 4.
#NOW VEHICLE FIRE: Constable Deputies and the Spring Fire Department are working a vehicle fire in the 22500 block of Aldine Westfield Rd & Hirschfield. No injuries reported.
North bound lanes of Aldine Westfield are currently shut down by emergency crews.

The incident occurred in the 22500 block of Aldine Westfield Road near Hirschfield Road, and was first reported at 6:41 p.m.
A photo taken at the scene shows heavy smoke emitting from a black passenger car.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. However, all northbound lanes of the road were closed to traffic as emergency crews worked the scene.
Motorists were instructed to find alternate routes.
