HOUSTON, TX — A 7-year-old girl died Monday, two days after a T-bone hit-and-run collision near south Houston’s Brunswick Lakes neighborhood, according to ABC13.
Houston Police Department said the incident occurred near the intersection of Cullen Boulevard and Schurmier Road on Saturday evening, December 11.
A preliminary investigation shows a Dodge Dart was heading northbound on Cullen when a Ford F-150 pickup truck going westbound on Schurmier ran past a stop sign. The Ford T-boned the Dodge, injuring the girl, its driver, and a 7-year-old boy.
The girl suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Texas Medical Center, where she was later pronounced deceased.
No information has been disclosed on the condition of the Dodge’s driver or boy passenger.
Authorities said a male driver and two other occupants in the causing Ford fled the scene on foot. HPD has not released any identifying details on the suspects at this time.
