News: Woman Killed, 2 Children Hospitalized After Single-Vehicle Crash in N.W. Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A woman died and two small children were rushed to the hospital following a major single-vehicle crash in northwest Houston last Friday, HPD reports.

The accident took place at about 8:15 p.m. as the 26-year-old female driver of a Ford Explorer lost control of the vehicle at a high rate of speed within the 5300 block of Antoine Drive.

The Ford ran over the curb before careening into the nearby shopping center, where it struck a parked car.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Two child passengers, ages 3 and 5, were taken to Texas Children’s Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
