News: 16-Year-Old Pedestrian Critically Injured After Hit-And-Run on Fondren Rd

HOUSTON, TX – A teenager was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver at a busy southwest Houston intersection early last month.

According to a report by the Houston Police Department, the 16-year-old victim was hit on May 8th while attempting to cross within the 11300 block of Fondren Road, near the intersection with Bellfort Ave.

By the time paramedics arrived on the scene, the driver had fled. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with a serious head injury and a broken leg.

It is unclear if any arrests have been made at this time.
