HOUSTON, TX – A crash near the community of Westwood on Sunday killed one person and injured three others, reports KTRK.
A car speeding south on the Southwest Freeway ran a red light at Bissonet St and collided with an SUV in the intersection. The car subsequently hit a concrete support beam.
According to police, the driver of the car died at the scene. A passenger was hospitalized in stable condition.
Both occupants of the SUV were also hospitalized in stable condition.
The identity of the deceased has not been released at this time.
