HOUSTON, TX – A woman from Houston was killed following a multi-vehicle collision in Grimes County on Monday morning.
According to KHOU, the crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. along SH-105, near the intersection with County Road 410.
Investigators believe 42-year-old Rhonda Nimako was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of the roadway when her vehicle sideswiped a pickup truck before collided with another vehicle head-on. The vehicle involved in the head-on crash rolled an unknown number of times in the roadway.
Nimako was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver in the rolled vehicle was hospitalized in critical condition. The driver in the pickup was unhurt.
